I understand that this hypnotherapy training is not psychological treatment and should not be misconstrued as psychotherapy.
If, for any reason, I might require psychological treatment, then I understand that it is my responsibility to seek appropriate professional help outside of class.
I understand that I may be asked to leave the class for the safety of the students and the quality of the class and teaching.

The nature of this class may, at times, inadvertently cause discomfort.
None of the activities in this class are designed in any way to cause discomfort, rather, they are for information and learning.

I understand in advance that the nature of this training is educational and not for psychological treatment. I will not hold HCH Institute liable and enter into this agreement in good faith.

School Fact Sheet

Placement Rates of Graduates:

HCH Institute provides no placement of graduates whatsoever. Due to the nature of the profession, graduates who practice hypnotherapy are self-employed or they combine hypnotherapy skills with another profession.

Regulation of the Practice of Hypnotherapy in California:

The state of California has no licensing or registration requirements or regulations for the practice of hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapists may not diagnose, treat or prescribe for physical or mental illness. Doing so is considered malpractice. CA law requires that hypnotherapists disclose to clients that the practice of hypnotherapy does not include the practice of medicine or psychotherapy. You have been given a sample of this required disclosure.

Wage and Salary Information:

Hypnotherapists in private practice set their own fees for services. HCH has no follow up on specific incomes generated by part time or full time hypnotherapists.

The California Employment Development Department has no Occupational Employment statistics for the employment or wages of hypnotherapists.

I am interested in becoming a professional hypnotherapist. I understand the at the nature of the business of hypnotherapy is that it is primarily a self-employed field.

Upon graduation I expect to start a private practice as a hypnotherapist.

I am already a practicing hypnotherapist and intend to add to my present skills.

I understand that I have been accepted to and am enrolling in level I of the hypnotherapy training only.

I understand that HCH reserves the right to eject and refund any student exibiting psychological instability causing disruption in the classroom.
